Rumex sanguineus (Marginal Aquatic)

Rumex sanguineus is grown for its foliage; crimson veins decorate each dark green leaf with intricate patterns. The large leaves form dense, attractive rosettes that create good cover for wildlife when grown in large groups. Wood Dock is a hardy, resilient British native, commonly seen on woodland edges and verges.
