Sagittaria graminea (Marginal Aquatic)

Sagittaria graminea is a dwarf marginal plant ideal for small ponds, water containers, and bog gardens. Its slender, oar-shaped leaves emerge elegantly from the water, supporting delicate sprays of white, three-petalled flowers with a bright yellow boss, held aloft on fine stems. This versatile species can be grown submerged as an oxygenator or rooted in the shallow margins, where it readily blooms from June to September. Its tidy growth and dainty flowers make it perfect for smaller water features. Water depth: 10-30cm. Ultimate height: 30-50cm (12-20in). Ultimate spread: 30cm to 60cm (12 - 24in).
