Geranium palustre (Marginal Aquatic)

Geranium palustre, commonly known as Marsh Cranesbill, is an adaptable perennial that brings a splash of vibrant colour to pond edges, bog gardens and borders – surviving in both wet and ordinary soils. This low-growing perennial forms bushy clumps of deeply divided, fresh green foliage that forms excellent ground cover. From early summer to autumn, it produces bright magenta-pink flowers with darker purple veins on slender stems. This extended flowering period makes it a valuable addition to any garden seeking long-lasting colour.Thriving in consistently moist or normal soils and full sun to partial shade, its adaptability allows it to flourish in various garden settings, including cottage gardens, water gardens and as ground cover in garden borders.
