This bareroot perennial is an easy to grow specimen, all you need to do when it arrives is unpack and water it. The large glossy green leaves with the tall structured pink flowers are definitely an eye-catching house plant. The Anthurium requires a temperature of over 15C (59F) and should ideally be placed in a well-lit spot but out of direct sunlight and cold draughts. Water regularly throughout the summer to keep the soil moist. It should be fed between March and September during its active growth period. It will love some humidity, so mist from time to time. In the winter months reduce the amount of watering and move to a cooler spot to help new flower buds to grow.
