A vibrant marginal aquatic native to Britain that is the first to flower in spring, adding some much needed colour to water gardens and ponds with its vibrant yellow blooms. Caltha palustris var. palustris produces clumps of attractive, glossy green foliage that provides a beautiful backdrop for its spring flowers.
