Lobelia cardinalis (Marginal Aquatic)

Grown for its purple tinged foliage and bright scarlet flowers, Lobelia cardinalis is a superb hardy perennial. Cardinal Flowers thrive in boggy soils and at the shallow edges of ponds, casting majestic reflections over still water. This striking marginal aquatic has been awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, bringing a bright splash of late summer colour to the garden. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 30cm (12).
