Magnolia 'Tiketare'

This eye-catching, deciduous Magnolia is a recent introduction from New Zealand. The wide, cup-shaped blooms decorate the bare branches from April to May. The rose pink flowers are darker on the outside with paler interiors. Throughout summer this handsome large shrub is cloaked in ovate, green foliage. Magnolia ?Tiketare? has a slow growth rate and a rounded, spreading habit. A lovely specimen plant for a large garden. Height and spread: 6m (19').
