Hosta Wide Brim The Hosta Wide Brim is a well know variety of hosta. Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, this hardy perennial is clump-forming and develops into an attractive dense rounded plant over time. The attractive variegated foliage has deep green centers and pale gold margins. Lilac blue, funnel-shaped flowers appear on tall stems throughout July. Plantain Lily 'Wide Brim' cheerfully brings colour to shady areas! The interesting mounding form is popular with garden designers. The new emerging leaves are tasty when boiled or added to stir fries. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 100cm (39").
