Hippophae rhamnoides 'Pollmix'

?Pollmix? is a bold male variety of Hippophae, that blooms from March until May. It generates masses of green, nectar rich flowers, that smother a compact, hedge-like form, boasting slender, olive-green leaflets. Great for using as attractive hedging and pollinating other female varieties, this hardy shrub would look superb in a cottage, low maintenance or coastal themed landscape. Position in direct sunlight and watch it progress to a height of 8m, along with a spread of 4m.
