Astilbe japonica 'Washington'

Astilbe are long-lived perennials that thrive in moist, shady spots in the sun or dappled shade. 'Washington' is an excellent Astilbe with pure white plumes that appear in early summer. Plants are resistant to rabbits and attract a variety of butterflies. Astilbe are great for cottage garden borders or growing in containers for summer color. Maintain constant moisture in the soil.
