Thompson and Morgan Clematis New Love Pot in Plant 7cm

Clematis 'New Love' is a herbaceous perennial, sporting vigorous stems that don't climb but instead form a spreading mound as they weave through borders. Reaching up to 90cm tall (36"), the lengthy stems are covered in dense green foliage, setting the stage for a profusion of fragrant, sky-blue flowers from June through to September. A vigorous grower, it swiftly fills gaps in perennial borders, blending beautifully with taller perennials like delphiniums, lupins, and foxgloves to create a flowing mass of ground cover. 'New Love' naturally cascades over the edges of patio containers or low walls, creating a stunning display. Pruning is a breeze; flowering occurs on new growth produced each season, so simply cut back the stems to ground level in spring to encourage fresh growth. This Clematis is easy to cultivate, thriving in sun or semi-shade in any fertile, well-drained soil. Regular feeding and watering are beneficial until fully established.
