A novel variety of the Chocolate Vine, Akebia quinata 'Cream Form' offers flowers in white chocolate instead of the usual dark chocolate maroon! Pendant umbels of small, vanilla scented, creamy-white flowers with purple centres appear from March to May. Semi-evergreen foliage composed of five oval leaflets hovers daintily on long stalks, emerging bronze in spring and flushing purple in winter.
