Hamamelis x intermedia 'Rubin' is a striking deciduous shrub or small tree that commands attention in the quietest months. In late winter to early spring, its spidery, deep ruby-red blooms, each with crinkled, ribbon-like petals and a spicy fragrance, appear on bare stems, standing out brilliantly against the grey winter landscape.
