Iris 'Autumn Encore' (Reblooming)

A true delight for purple enthusiasts, Iris Autumn Encore offers stunning, richly coloured blooms and an extended flowering season, with a second flush in the autumn. This tall Bearded Iris features regal purple standards with a white base, while the falls showcase a white background with striking royal purple to maroon veining and stippling, radiating from the edges of the ruffled petals. Each fall is highlighted by a bold purple stripe down the centre, and the beard is white at the base with a yellow tip. With well-branched stems, Autumn Encore produces an abundance of flowers in May/June, followed by a second bloom in September. This majestic iris creates a commanding focal point in sunny borders, and its blue-green, sword-like foliage adds vertical interest to the landscape even when not in bloom.
