Catananche Caerulea Alba

A cheerful little perennial which makes a wonderful addition to cut flower bouquet displays due to its long-lasting flowers! Catananche Caerulea 'Alba' produces jagged-edged, bright white blooms which burst into colour from straw-like buds throughout the summer. Once the flowers fade, papery seed heads will follow in autumn which make a fantastic addition to dried flower arrangements. Although quite a short-lived variety, Catananche caerulea offers a nostalgic touch to cottage gardens and looks very effective planted in groups in sunny borders where it will happily seed about to produce news plants over the years.
