Rhododendron 'Morning Cloud' Yakushimanum Hybrid

This award-winning Rhododendron produces dark pink buds which erupted in late spring to reveal large, trumpet-like blooms flushed with pink, with a yellow-green throat. Rhododendron 'Morning Cloud? is ideal for growing in containers in limited growing spaces such as terraces and courtyards, as well as small gardens with lime-free soil. Yakushimanum Rhododendrons are fully hardy, cope well in full sun, have a rounded, compact habit and are slow-growing, staying small for many years. Although small, they are reliably floriferous, boasting large, showy blooms. They are also renowned for their good health - partly due to the silvery hairs that cover the foliage, providing a barrier against diseases and pests. All of these qualities make Yakushimanum rhododendrons very desirable! This beautiful Rhododendron infuses charm into shaded corners of the garden or areas around the house. It is compact enough to grow in a large container or plant in a small garden border with lime-free soil.
