Whilst other blooms have long faded and the garden gives way to autumnal foliage, this summer dormant perennial takes centre stage, bringing pops of colour right up to November.These impressive, autumn flowering Guernsey lilies sit on tall, slender but sturdy stems which make stunning cut flowers at a time when other blooms are scarce. The hardiest of the species, Nerine bowdenii can be grown in the greenhouse, outdoors in pots or in well drained borders and rockeries.
