These easy-to-grow, low-maintenance plants are weather-resistant and thrive in a sunny location, rewarding you with a long flowering season from summer through to autumn.To get started, pot up your petunia plants and nurture them in a warm, frost-free environment until ready for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching, resulting in a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. Once the risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then, transplant them into well-drained soil in baskets, window boxes, or containers, ensuring they receive full sun.
