Honeysuckle 'Gold Flame'

Throughout summer, Honeysuckle 'Gold Flame' bears whorls of tubular flowers, with an irresistibly rich, heady scent. The perfumed blooms are pink on the outside and orange-yellow within, followed by glossy red berries which are loved by birds. In sheltered gardens and particularly mild winters this woody climber remains semi-evergreen, retaining its rounded green foliage all year round. This RHS AGM variety makes a lovely addition to walls and fences, or trained onto pillars and pergolas. Unlike many climbing Lonicera, Honeysuckle 'Gold Flame' doesn?t have naturally twining stems, so it will require tying in to supporting wires. Height and spread: 5m (16?).
