Plum 'Opal'

Plum 'Opal' is one of the most dependable garden varieties, and it may be grown anywhere in the United States. In July and August, this dessert plum, which is slightly earlier to crop than 'Victoria,' provides a substantial crop of excellent quality, petite, yellow-skinned fruits with an appealing red blush. The golden flesh peels away from the stone easily and has a lovely sweet flavor.
