Verbena 'Homestead Purple'

A well-loved and vigorous trailing verbena which will create a superb display in containers and at the front of borders from June to October, attracting butterflies and bees. Verbena 'Homestead Purple' bears a profusion of rounded flower heads of vibrant purple blooms which appear above jagged green leaves with a bushy, spreading habit. This half-hardy perennial can be overwintered by bringing into an unheated conservatory or greenhouse or by using thick mulch in milder areas. Height: 30cm (12in). Spread: 40cm (16in).
