Cortaderia selloana 'White'

Pampas Grass is a tough, long-lasting garden plant that will almost take care of itself. Cortaderia selloana 'White' has beautiful plumes of feathery, white seed heads on sturdy stalks that rise above the extremely tough foliage. Pampas Grass's tufted evergreen plants are ideal for filling gaps in a border, and 'Pumila' is also suitable for small gardens. Plants provide year-round interest in the garden, but are at their best in August, when silvery plumes emerge from the very center of the grassy plants. Height: 1.5m (5ft) and Spread: 1.2m (3.9').
