Viburnum odoratissimum var. awabuki

This large shrub or small tree bears extremely glossy evergreen leaves to form an attractive specimen plant. Viburnum odoratissimum var. awabuki produces cone-like panicles of scented white blooms in late spring, followed by red berries that will turn black as they ripen.
