Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' (Hedging)

Photinia 'Red Robin' is the most well-known of its species. It is admired for its springtime display of vivid scarlet leaves. Even with hard pruning, this vibrant RHS AGM cultivar may produce an effective evergreen hedge. A striking two-tone effect results from the shiny young leaves and red stalks contrasting with the established green foliage lower on the plant. Round clusters of creamy white flowers complement the spring foliage. This well-liked evergreen shrub can be grown as a low-maintenance display plant or planted in forest areas and shrubberies to add a burst of spring colour.
