Black Bamboo

This ornamental black Bamboo is perfect for adding to an exotic themed garden or calming zen space. It boasts masses of evergreen canes that begin as a glossy green and later transform to a shiny black, they form in neat clumps and gently arch, creating fabulous shape and form. It produces bundles of slender green leaflets that smother its lengthy canes, creating an eyeful of colour and texture all year round. This Phyllostachys looks perfect incorporated into woodlands, used as privacy screening and added into low maintenance outdoor spaces. It enjoys partial shade to grow and will develop in height to 4m, along with a spread of 3m.
