Mahonia eurybracteata 'Sweet Winter'

A Mahonia which is friendly to touch! Unusually, the leaves are not spiny and holly-like. Mahonia ?Sweet Winter? is an evergreen, bushy but compact shrub, ideal for a large container or to add colour to a shady or partially shaded site. Slender, strap like, slightly curved leaves are a fitting backdrop for the arching racemes of pale yellow flowers. The blooms appear from October through to December followed by spherical blue-black berries.
