The Pyracantha Red Column, a steadfast evergreen shrub, is also known as Firethorn. This hardy plant flourishes in almost any location, making it a dependable choice for gardens. Its dense, thorny branches render it ideal for hedging, and it can be trained against a wall to provide year-round verdant interest.This adaptable, upright shrub can reach heights of approximately 3m if left unpruned, but it is easily maintained at a smaller size through hard pruning. Alternatively, it can be cultivated into a secure and impenetrable hedge.In spring, the Pyracantha bursts forth with dense clusters of white flowers, which are a magnet for bees.
