Scabiosa japonica 'Ritz Blue'

?Ritz Blue? is a dramatic Pincushion flower that adds vibrancy, architectural height and texture wherever placed. It flowers from June until September and produces elegant clusters in a shade of sky blue ? they happily sit amongst airy stems and its fresh green foliage forms in neat, compact clumps. This pretty Scabiosa makes a beautiful container shrub and adds lots of decorative value to courtyards and wildlife schemes. Easy to care for, this hardy perennial is superb for growing in a low maintenance garden and would also work well in cottage gardening schemes. Its fluffy balls of baby blue blooms are nectar rich and attract lots of pollinating insects all year round, they enjoy full sun to flourish and will develop in height and spread to 20cm.
