Throughout the summer, Honeysuckle 'Gold Flame' bursts into life with whorls of pink and orange tubular blooms, releasing a rich, heady scent. Following the fabulous flowers are glossy, inedible red berries, a favourite among wild birds.Awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding garden performance, this vivacious variety makes a lovely addition to walls and fences or when trained onto pillars and pergolas. Unlike many climbing Lonicera, 'Gold Flame' doesn’t have naturally twining stems, so will need a little help with tying in to supporting wires.Though labelled deciduous, in sheltered gardens and mild winters, this woody climber often remains semi-evergreen, retaining its rounded green foliage all year round. Reaching up to 5m in height and spread when fully established, this plant is supplied as a 3-litre potted Lonicera x heckrottii 'Gold Flame'.
