The Viburnum Opulus ‘Roseum’, or snowball tree, is a stunning addition to any garden. Its eye-catching clusters of snowball-like blooms are complemented by attractive maple-like leaves, a vibrant fresh green in colour. A remarkably adaptable plant, it thrives in a wide range of settings, from cottage and wildlife gardens to low-maintenance, cut flower, woodland, and even coastal gardens. This variety is sterile, meaning it doesn't produce berries. For optimal growth, plant in moist, well-drained soil with full sun or partial shade. It also shows excellent tolerance to coastal conditions. Established plants benefit from pruning after flowering; remove one in five of the oldest branches down to their base.
