Patty Pan Squash ‘Polo’ is an exciting and fun alternative to growing gluts of the same old standard courgettes every season. The gleaming white scalloped fruits grab attention, looking wonderful both on the veg plot and in the kitchen. Squash ‘Polo’ is an early maturing variety, yielding an abundance of fruits on compact plants that are well suited to growing in smaller plots or in large containers on balconies and patios. Plants demonstrate good resistance to downy mildew. These versatile fruits can be sliced into wedges and sauteed, roasted or grilled or stuff whole fruits with a vegetable and cheese mix and roast them – delicious! Height: 60cm (24in).
