Escallonia rubra 'Pink Spire'

Escallonia ‘Pink Spire’ is a variety with an upright habit so it is particularly useful for growing as a medium to tall hedge. It can also be used as an erect border or wall shrub. It tolerates considerable trimming, so its size can be easily controlled as desired. From June to September, its glossy green leaves are covered with upright spikes of tubular pink blooms that attract pollinators.
