Lily leichtlinii

An unusual Turk’s Cap lily native to Japan, Lilium leichtlinii bears pendant, golden-yellow flowers adorned with maroon spots with distinctive, swept-back petals. The blooms are borne on slender stems, each supporting up to 20 flowers, creating a radiant display from July to September.Lily leichtlinii may look exotic, but it’s a remarkably hardy and dependable perennial that rewards you year after year. Mature bulbs can produce up to 20 dazzling golden blooms and will readily naturalise in borders to form larger colonies each year. Its tall, elegant stems and striking flowers bring effortless drama and structure to border and container displays—and their long-lasting blooms make stunning cut flowers for up to two weeks indoors.
