It includes the following types: 1. Allium 'Karataviense' (5 bulbs): This RHS AGM variety makes an excellent dried bloom and is perfect for rock gardens. It is a very unique allium from the Kazakhstani mountains. In May and June, globular heads of starry, pinkish-white flowers emerge from between a pair of extraordinary broad, glaucous leaves, which are in and of themselves a stunning characteristic. Height and spread: 25cm. 2. Ipheion (30 bulbs): In the autumn, clumps of bright green foliage emerge, followed by an abundance of colourful, star-shaped flowers in the spring. These simple-to-grow bulbs are perfect for borders and patio containers, where they will provide a lovely spring display. The flowers also have a deliciously sweet honey scent. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 5cm (2). 3. Ixiolirion tartarica (20 bulbs): From May to July, the stunning flowers of the Blue Mountain Lily appear in a frenzy of royal blue trumpets carried on upright stems.
