Geometric Sempervivum 'Mixed', also known as Houseleeks, are a superb collection of easy-to-grow evergreen succulents, perfect for creating a living carpet in your garden. These hardy perennials form dense rosettes of foliage in a fabulous array of colours and forms, some adorned with delicate, spidery webbing. Mature rosettes may produce panicles of star-shaped flowers in summer, adding an extra layer of charm. Individual rosettes fade after flowering, but they quickly give way to small offsets, ensuring a continuous display.Requiring only sharply drained, gritty soil and full sun, Sempervivum are the epitome of low-maintenance gardening. Once established, they are extremely drought tolerant, making them ideal for rockeries, wall crevices and alpine troughs. These neat succulents also thrive as houseplants, brightening any windowsill indoors.
