Larix kaempferi 'Blue Dwarf'

This compact, slow-growing dwarf Japanese larch brings striking colour and form to smaller gardens and rockeries. Rarely offered as a standard, this Larix kaempferi 'Blue Dwarf' features a single trunk topped with a mound of soft, bluish-green needles that turn golden-yellow in autumn before falling, offering seasonal highlights as a deciduous conifer. Slowly maturing into a dwarf tree with a broad, flat-topped canopy, it works beautifully as an accent tree in containers, patio displays or Japanese gardens, adding structure and interest without overwhelming space.
