Ceanothus x delilianus 'Henri desfosse'

From July to September, Ceanothus x delilianus 'Henri Desfosse' makes an excellent specimen plant with large panicles of violet-blue flowers. This spreading, deciduous shrub's red stems are cloaked in bright green foliage that makes an attractive backdrop for summer perennials. Plants at the back of mixed borders, in wildlife areas, and in cottage garden planting schemes. This hardy Californian Lilac grows well in a variety of soil types. Height and spread: 150 cm (59).
