Product Description

Behold the Wisteria Tree Standard, a wondrously scented, hardy Wisteria, expertly trained to grace gardens of all sizes! This timeless specimen produces elegant, lilac-coloured racemes that cascade gracefully from its twining stems. A classic focal point, ideal for a large patio container or border.Plant your Wisteria in a sunny or semi-shaded location with moist, well-drained soil. Protect flower buds from harsh spring frosts by choosing a sheltered spot. Enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or garden compost before planting. Provide sturdy support for the twining stems, such as strong trellis or wires attached to walls and pergolas. Standard Wisterias particularly benefit from robust support to shield the head from strong winds.Water and feed regularly until fully established. In autumn or spring, mulch the base with well-rotted manure or compost. Prune in July and again in February. During the first two years, establish a framework of permanent stems, tying in selected lateral shoots and removing unwanted growth. Once the framework is established, prune twice yearly to maintain the plant's size within its allotted space.Product Specifications:.Position: Sun or semi shade.Height: Up to 900cm (354.3in) when fully established.Spread: Up to 400cm (157.7in) when fully established.Supplied as: 1 x 2 litre potted plant.Delivered with growing and care instructions.Images are for guidance only; results may vary based on growing conditions.
