Scarlet Willow (Hedging)

A willow with all of the features you'd expect from this species, plus the added benefit of vivid red juvenile stems in the winter. The scarlet willow adapts well to being included in a hedgerow, and regular trimming encourages the growth of red branches. They are ideal for planting in places with poor drainage and flooding because they will happily endure these conditions. Height: 12m (39'). Spread: 8m (26'). Planting Distance: 45cm (18).
