Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium'

Acer japonicum ?Aconitifolium? is a particularly slow growing deciduous shrub, but over time it will spread wonderfully, demonstrating its beauty via the incredibly pure shades of red and green it displays, fading in an out of the two colours as it matures through the seasons. In April to May, tiny clusters of purple-red blooms emerge for added spring interest. Ideal grown in beds and borders where it can grow freely. Height: 5m (15?). Spread: 6m (18?).
