Our ½ Standard Portuguese Laurel Tree is a stylish way to add height, greenery, and year-round interest to your garden. Standing at around 2m tall, it has a 1.3m clear stem topped with a 0.7m head of dense, glossy foliage – giving you height without taking up too much space at the base. Portuguese Laurel (Prunus lusitanica) is known for its dark green leaves and refined, elegant look. The term “½ Standard” refers to the height of the clear stem. A ½ Standard tree has a shorter trunk with a lower crown compared to a full Standard tree, which usually has a 1.8m clear stem and a higher head.
