Common Dogwood (Hedging)

Common Dogwood (hedging) is an extremely adaptable deciduous hedging plant. It provides year-round interest. This spectacular plant is grown for its colourful winter stems. It is also covered in green foliage throughout the summer. Cornus sanguina produces tiny white flowers in the summer, followed by glossy black berries. By autumn, the foliage turns fiery red and falls to the ground, revealing its spectacular orange, yellow, and red stems. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2.5m (8'). Planting distance: 30cm (12). (4 plants per metre for a single line hedge).
