Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star'

This miniature conifer grows slowly and is well sized for the rockery. Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star' has a compact, spreading habit that makes for a lovely evergreen groundcover that doesn't get out of hand. Flaky Juniper, an RHS AGM variety, has aromatic silver-blue needle-like leaves that eventually produces a lovely textural mound. This hardy shrub, like all Junipers, is low maintenance and easy to grow in a variety of garden situations. Height: 40cm (16). Spread: 100cm (39).
