Acer Shirasawanum Aureum

Acer shirasawanum 'Aureum' is one of the greatest yellow-leaved acers which forms a small tree with a rounded habit and provides several seasons of interest. Small red blooms appear in spring to compliment the vibrant yellow leaves and in summer the leaves will transform to lime green before turning a fiery mix of peach and orange shades in the autumn. 'Golden Moon Maple' will thrive in dappled shade and makes an excellent specimen tree in borders or lawns as well as being suitable for growing in a container. Height and spread in 10 years: 2-3m (6 to 8 foot).
