The historic Frescobaldi Castello Nipozzano estate is located a few kilometres north-east of Florence and embodies deep-rooted Tuscan tradition in every bottle. According to popular belief, Nipozzano means ‘without a well’ – testimony to the area’s lack of water but one of the reasons grapes thrive here. This elegant Chianti is made predominantly from Sangiovese grapes and is aged in oak barrels. Expect flavours of red and black berries, florals, and hints of pepper and balsamic.
