This is a hands-on, write-in, look-and-feel sketchbook.Children follow the process of a real fashion designer to create their own fashion collection.This includes finding inspiration, making a mood board, collecting and gathering research, choosing colours and a defining silhouette, experimenting with fabrics, print and pattern, building a capsule selection of garments into a collection, and then creating a ‘lookbook’ to show off the new range.There are also spreads about preparing for the runway show, including hair and make-up.Finally, there’s the high-street launch to consider.The book is aimed at children aged eight and over, but older children and younger teens should also find plenty to keep them inspired.
