Product Description

Summary Primarily, I regard it as obvious that according to the law, Vessby is biased regarding Annika Dahlqvist's dietary advice. His investigation is completely uncalled for, as her advice is completely in agreement with science and proven experience.Furthermore, I would insist that dietary advice to sick patients must be seen as the responsibility and duty of the physician, and shall be given according to science and proven experience, even if it is delegated to dietitians. The National Board of Health and Welfare must also act immediately to ensure that, as opposed to current policy, dietary advice to diabetics from both doctors and dietitians can once again be based on science and proven expe- rience and be freed from commercial special interests and agricultural policy.Dietary advice, in sickness and in health, may no longer emanate from the Department of Agriculture, which demonstrably lacks the necessary competence. The National Board of Health and Welfare must take action to change this.It is also up to the National Board of Health and Welfare to take a stand on whether there is cause to investigate if these two doctors act or have acted according to science and proven experience in their professional practice, when these recommendations were adopted and in various ways communicated to the public, doctors and dietitians, obviously with highly significant impact according to the above statistics.Naturally, this process will in the future be subjected to scrutiny by the free press and independent legal expertise according to the principles of freedom of information.Malmö 2007-02-03 Ralf Sundberg Licensed physician, independent researcher
