They are not the only ones who need a fresh start and the kindness of strangers: a gardener desperate to provide a future for his autistic son; an eccentric gamekeeper haunted by the past; a neglected child; a failed businessman; a cook risking everything for what she believes. Each of them needs to recover from trauma but if they can recognise a second chance when it is offered and be brave enough to take it then maybe they can save Hazelgrove and save themselves.
