Creepy Creatures : Fluency 12

Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School.It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4.Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 12 books have a word count of 6240 words with an expected reading rate of 130 words per minute. We share our planet with some incredible creatures, but how do they get their names?It turns out that legends and folklore may have some answers!Discover some of the worlds creepiest legends and meet the real-world animals linked to them, from zombie snails to vampire bats.
