Four time Grammy nominee, Multiinstrumentalist, producer, Porcupine Tree founding member Steven Wilson releases 2016s Interim Album 4 12 for the first time on CD.The album opens with the shimmering guitar lines of My Book Of Regrets and the upbeat Happiness III followed by the eerie instrumentals of Year Of The Plague and Sunday Rain Sets In. Later the record throws back to heavier moments of Steven Wilson and recalling Porcupine Tree on the distortion led Vermillioncore before rounding up with the introspective reimagining of Dont Hate Me. A track that is a reinterpretation of the Porcupine Tree classic with Ninet Tayeb who featured on 039Hand. Cannot. Erase.039 and 2018s To The Bone. Produced and mixed by Steven Wilson, 4 12 features a stellar group of musicians contributing to the LP which include Adam Holzman keyboards, Nick Beggs bass, Guthrie Govan guitar, Dave Kilminster guitar, Marco Minnemann drums, Chad Wackerman drums, Craig Blundell drums and Theo Travis. The artwork features photography by long time collaborator Lasse Hoile and designed by Carl Glover.The album is available on digipack with eight page booklet.
